Treating Eating Disorders: Case Consultation Group

Treating eating disorders is often one of the most challenging and, at times, frustrating endeavors. There remains very little consensus in the research literature about what’s effective. We can benefit from case consultation in enhancing our understanding as we explore approaches to the behavioral and psychological issues that emerge during the course of treatment. We will supplement our learning process with shared readings and case discussions.

This group provides a collaborative environment where professionals can engage in thoughtful consultation and discussion, share best practices, and learn and implement evidence-based individual and family-oriented approaches tailored to the complexities of eating disorders and related concerns.
