Emotional Support Animals: Everything You’ve Wanted To Know

Join Connections Health and Paws For Patrick for a free, two-hour workshop designed to explore the role of Emotional Support Animals in mental health treatment through research, real-world experience, and practical guidance. 

You’ll Learn:

  • What an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is 
  • Research and therapeutic benefits
  • Emotional, social, and physical impacts
  • Common misconceptions
  • The therapist’s role in ESA recommendations
  • Documentation and best practices 
  • Q&A session

Participants will recieve 2 Continuing Education (CE) credit hours upon successful completion of this course. 

This workshop is open to mental health professionals who are curious about the process, ethics, and benefits of emotional support animals. Whether you’re considering how best to support your clients, or just want to understand the system better, you’ll leave informed, empowered, and better equipped to make responsible choices.
