Meet Beth Enterkin, LCPC, MAAT

Beth provides art therapy and talk therapy in working with diverse people of all ages. Her focus is trauma therapy, supporting people who have experienced abusive relationships, sexual violence, or other traumatic events. She is skilled in helping people with anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship difficulties, and with exploring gender and sexuality. She works with couples and families, and leads support groups.

Using both verbal and creative arts therapy, Beth tailors her approach to the needs, preferences, and personality of each client. She incorporates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and problem-solving approaches. Beth uses a social justice, feminist, relational-cultural lens in supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and women. Beth is fluent and can offer therapy in Spanish.

Beth received her Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and her Master’s degree in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has certifications and extensive experience in therapeutic crisis intervention, sexual assault, and domestic violence counseling. She is also experienced in providing supervision, consultation and training for therapists and other professionals. Her prior experience includes Resilience (formerly Rape Victim Advocates), Connections for Abused Women and Children, Rice Child and Family Center, and Sarah’s Circle.
