Queer Asian Student Support Group
Connecting Through Sharing Stories, Building Connections and Community
This support group offers a welcoming and affirming space for Mandarin-speaking queer Chinese students to connect, share, and build community. Many students have expressed feeling isolated, unsure of how to find community, or uncertain about how their identities fit into broader LGBTQIA+ culture in the U.S. This group is designed to center those experiences—creating space for reflection, dialogue, and connection with others who share cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Open to all students, the group specifically centers the experiences of queer Asian/Chinese individuals. Together, we’ll explore identity, belonging, values, and what it means to be part of the queer community while navigating cultural expectations and personal growth.
