Meet Connie Greene, LSW


Connie works with diverse students, young adults, and professionals in providing counseling and therapeutic support. Her overall areas of focus include anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, academic and work challenges, identity development, and life transitions. She has a special interest in collaborating with clients in exploring multi-cultural life experiences and influences, and in understanding the emotional and behavioral impacts of past experiences in the present.

An engaged, warm, validating, and active listener, Connie integrates interpersonal, strengths-based, and solution finding approaches. She supports clients in navigating and addressing challenges, better managing stress, enhancing life skills, and improving relationships. Working in an array of settings, Connie values working with people, individually and in groups, with different socio-economic backgrounds, motivations and goals.

In her work with clients, Connie utilizes Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma informed frameworks and tools in her integrative approach. Connie received her clinical training from the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute and earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Chicago Crown School and her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. In addition to her degrees, Connie is a certified Co-Active Coach through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).

Connie is a Therapist and Practice Development Associate with Connections Health.
